Emerging at the time of global improvement of technology, 226 Studios puts forward a SMART Renewable Energy design, where in our designs we strive to maximize the use of rich natural resources in Indonesia without reducing the effectiveness of a building. With a mission to further improve the country in terms of human resources, architectural technology and Indonesia’s huge potential for renewable energy.
Deskripsi Proyek TA : 3Star Hotel for PT. Royal Bersinar is a hotel project located in between Jl. Mayjend Sungkono & Jl. Dukuh Kupang which is one of Surabaya’s main road for tourist attractions, making the location a very strategic place to be used for a hotel. The site itself is in the form of vacant land with wild grass, with a total footprint area of ??± 2,060m2.
The building design is adapted from a philosophy of a HOOK which is a metaphor of the client’s wishes. With HOOK, he hopes this building can attract the attention of every person solely from its design and attract all things that positive for the business continuity. The application of HOOK itself can also be seen from the shape of the building shaped like a hook when seen from above, and the use of solar panels to maximize the tropical climate conditions of the site at Surabaya, Indonesia.
The project design also corresponds with the design pillars of 226 Studios which are Renewable, Personalized & Technology.
Renewable: Utilizing and maximizing natural resources located on site and converting into renewable energy which answers the desire of the client.
Personalized: A building design answering client’s desires, with a modern-rustic style desired directly from the client.
Technology: The use of the latest technology in the form of Solar Panels and Building Automation System that responds to the client’s desire that the building can be self-sustainable regarding use of energy.
