Deskripsi Bisnis : Rumah Kuliner Ponorogo is a culinary facility locate at Jalan Ir. H. Juanda, Ponorogo, East Java. Rumah Kuliner Ponorogo provides local cuisine of Ponorogo in a form of restaurant and also provides any local crafts made by local craftsman in a form of gift shop. This facility is made to give easy access and comfortable place to get Ponorogo cuisine and souvenirs for domestic or international tourist. By providing local crafts at the gift shop, Rumah Kuliner Ponorogo hopes to be able to help locals craftsman to survive in this global pandemic situation.

Deskripsi TA : This design project is a culinary facility project that located in Ponorogoo. The concept of the design is contemporary ethnic, where modern and traditional design meet. Nowadays, there are many new food and beverage facilities in a form of cafe. Therefore, Rumah Kuliner Ponorogo aspires to be a culinary facility that is up to date but still has traditional Ponorogo aspects by using Ponorogo’s sense of place approach. This traditional aspects shows on the building facade and also its interior. Rumah Kuliner Ponorogo also uses Javanese architecture mass for the zoning. To show its modern design that has warm and homey ambience, the wall and floor interior of the building uses raw or expose materials, such as polished concrete and vintage ceramic tile for flooring finishing, while the walls are finished with expose brich and concrete, mural walls, and roster brick. Ponorogo’s iconic symbol is Reog. Reog is a traditional Indonesian dance that serves a folk entertainment, the main dancer is a lion headed person with a peacock feather decoration. The mural walls of the interior are drawn with Reog and other characters that appear in the Reog dance. While Reog itself has peacock element, the interior also has peacock elements that show in the booth seating divider, entrance door, and fabrics. The furnitures mostly use wood materials and have simple line form to shows its modern design.
