Deskripsi Bisnis : JL Studio was founded in 2020, which focuses on design services which include interior design and architecture, with the scope of residential, commercial/retail, hospitality, and SOHO projects. Starting from the awareness of the importance of preserving the earth, therefore JL Studio adopts and applies the green design concept as its value. The resulting design can minimize the influence or bad risks that can affect user comfort in the building and the health of the surrounding environment.

Deskripsi TA : Dahayung Guesthouse Project is located in Gayungsari Street, Surabaya, East Java, Indonesia. The existing building was previously used as a food court on the 1st floor. Therefore, the building owner wants this building to be fully functional again and not to allow the 2nd and 3rd floors of the building to be abandones, in order to generate profits for the building owner. So the owner wants this building to be used as a guesthouse.

In addition, the UN is currently explaining that in 2020, the average temperature of our planet is very hot, and 2020 is one of the three hottest years on earth ever recorded in climate record. So the Green Design concept really need to be applied to this building project. Which with the implementation of this concept, the building will contribute to preserving nature, besides that the building can also save excessive energy use.

Gayungsari is an area that quite popular with tourists who come for pilgrimages.. Therefore, the atmosphere of this gueshouse also applies sharia presented by Moroccan and Middle Eastern style with Islamic nuances. The dome shape in several corners of the building is the main character in the application of the Middle Eastern style, as well as the tiled ceramics that also support the atmosphere of this guesthouse.
