Deskripsi TA : The design of the Mitra Surya office was made with a Smart Building System approach to increase energy efficiency in buildings. So that Mitra Surya office building is equipped with automatic shading devices that can move according to sunlight. The goal is to take full advantage of natural lighting from the sun so as to reduce the use of artificial lighting in buildings. Supported by the use of motion detector lights in rooms that are not actively used so that the new lights will turn on when human movement is detected. The active room will use smart lights that can be controlled via a smartphone. With the help of this technology, the use of artificial lighting in the building will be reduced and more controlled.

To increase the use of artificial ventilation, a room temperature detector will be used which will later be connected to the air conditioner and building windows. If the room temperature is detected as low or cold, the air conditioner will turn off and the window will open automatically. Then if the room temperature is detected as high or hot, the air conditioner will turn on and the window will close automatically. If the temperature detector is deactivated, the air conditioner and windows can operate individually. Supported by the arrangement of crossed windows and doors, the air circulation in the building will be more thorough. Also supported by a shading device on the skin of the building that can catch more wind to enter the building.
